Let's face it, the zombie and faith based film world have pretty much become repetitive. Why not be part of the first faith based zombie film? Why not shake up the genres by helping to create an action packed, dramatic, funny and scary film that somehow leaves feeling inspired? If you want your money to make an impact...this is it.
Movie Pitch
Let's be honest, the world as we know it...is becoming morality free.
Rampant racism, classism, hate, greed and the sheer misuse of faith are the culprits.
Most faith based movies rarely help and create a false sense of reality.
Typical storylines go: Everyone is almost perfect and when they mess up, God appears then bam...back to being close to perfect.
That's not real. Many of us are walking examples of God intervening in our imperfect lives. We cuss, we lie, we get betrayed, we betray, we cheat, we fail, we hurt, we get hurt...we human.
Zombie movies are more gore-fests than inspiring. Slow walking zombies that eat brains or have an insatiable thirst to kill without reason. The themes are repetitive and lack imagination. What if the zombies were different? What if they talked, ran, thought...etc? How would that change the landscape of zombie films?
We wanted to combine them both to create something different but of the same. This was done in hopes of inspiring heavy thought and discussion about faith. However, Six Hours will be about real people who believe in God, atheists, zombies and how their lives intersect during an apocalypse. All in all, the viewer will not leave thinking, "Why did I waste my time?" but, "Wow...I love God more" or "I need to love people more." (Yup, using zombies to inspire thought...sounds weird right?)
About Film
An Imam, Pastor and Rabbi walk into a private bar...that's not the beginning of a bad joke but the commencement of what they call, "The Absolute Awakening."Three men come together to put an end to the "bastardizing of humanity." They're fed up with normality of financial greed, over sexualization and government corruption. With this unified passion, they make a choice to master reset the country...one state at a time...starting with Georgia.
They pick the world's greatest scientist and manipulate him into creating one of the most evil and discriminatory viruses the world has seen. Once the virus takes control of Georgia, the U.S. government calls for a missile strike to prevent the hordes of "White Eyes" from infecting the remaining country.
Six hours until the strike we find six strangers of three different religions fighting for survival. As the clock ticks down, they find out their pasts intertwine and no matter their religion...all they have...is just faith. Will they survive or will they disappear with the state?

My name is Devin T. Robinson X "Egypt." I'm a father, husband and drama ministry director at Berean Christian Church. All my life I've been in awe of how little we know about God but how much we hurt other people for not knowing Him at all. This film is my imagination meeting reality. Lastly, I'm a writer, producer & actor.

No matter what we will create a film. There is no other way to go. How can you have a faith based film without faith? We're committed to creating a phenomenal film and money isn't allowed to be a deterrent to our purpose. This film is bigger than money and we will make finishing it our obligation.
